Ben Stiller Does Twitter and Facebook - Pokes Fun at Late Arrival to Net

Ben Stiller has arrived on the Social Media platform and he's making fun of himself and his less than timely arrival.  Funny stuff.  Mashable has a good story about Stiller's late landing: Ben Stiller Discovers Social Media.

Imaginative Film Marketing by PES Films

Here are some great spots produced by a video production company called PES films. The commercial below is one of a series done for Bacardi Rum. Great use of simple everyday items in their classic stop frame animation.   A great sound track heightens the viewing experience.

The fireworks display below uses the items you might find in a seek and find picture book: candy easter bunnies, coins, matches and much more.   Clever stuff.

Find more of their work on their site at the following link: PES Films.

JK Wedding Entrance Dance - 10M views and going strong

This is a great albeit simple video that has been recreated on the Today show (over the weekend) and viewed more than 10 million times this past month.  You can't embed the video on a site (not sure why but YouTube won't let you), so here's the link. The music is a track from Chris Brown of all people! JK Wedding Entrace Dance  My favorite parts of the video are the entrance of the groom and the ecstatic look of the bride as she glows and boogies down the aisle. It's good pure video.

Lovely and Simple - Great Music, but...

Click here (Priscilla Ahn - Dream) to see a simple slide show created on Rock You which allows you to pick music and create your own slide shows with some simple editing tools.  Nice use of the media and easy simple transitions.  What makes it work for me is the music by Priscilla Ahn - a song called Dream.  What troubles me is that the music does NOT go away and there's no way to stop it except by leaving the page.

Eternal Moonwalk

As those of you know who are amigos of mine on FB, I am not too bullish on Michael Jackson and the ridiculous amount of coverage his death has generated. That being said, here's a neat concept offering a tribute to the Gloved One and allowing all his minions to share their own interpretation of his Moonwalk Dance. It's called Eternal Moonwalk, and it plays ten second clips of submittors' Moonwalk dances. It's simple and quite viral.... even for someone who is very anti-MJ these days.  I also like it because of the music.  The site's sponsor - Studio Brussel - is a Belgian radio station.
