Feel the Game: Lead the Charge, Brand Jordan...

This might be one of the top 3 commercials I have ever seen, if not THE best.  Why?  You are on the court.... great sound mix, great action shots... it all works.  This spot takes you on the court like nothing I have seen in a long time.  This commercial rocks.... and it's not even a great copy (on YouTube)!

Adidas Beckham: out from under the rock

So have you seen this commercial?  Not sure where I was, but this commercial for Adidas is really nice.  It feels like a precursor to the Microsoft campaign I wrote about a few weeks ago.  Anyway, it's a fine mix of simple music, great artwork and a good story.  The fact that David Beckham tells the story is certainly a bonus.

I cannot figure out what this video is... is it some kind of commercial?  Where would it run?  I would imagine that kids would love it... and parents will be amused, but....

Meet Capucine - Story Teller Fantastique!

Capucine has become a world renowned storyteller thanks to the Internet.  And now the web site Edurelief  is using her to raise money for children in Mongolia.  So what's the hook?  How does this French lady who's unknown get so much buzz?   Well Capucine is four... and she tells a great story.  This is proof that the story is the most important element of a compelling video.  The production values and music all help, but it's all window dressing if there's not a compelling story there to get you dialed in.
