This spot is a great sendup of activist ads although it too seems to be sponsored by MoveOn.org Politics aside, it's amusing and well done.

Here's a link to the extended version of the USMC drill team, shot in the shadows of hallmark US icons like Independence Hall in Philadelphia, the St. Louis Arch, The Grand Canyon, Hoover Dam and the Golden Gate Bridge. Nice simple idea, music driven with classic images sure to appeal to the heart of any red blooded American.

It's a silly sendup of detective shows, with bumbling tales of inept detective work. The stars of Funny People and The Hangover are joined by Ted Danson in this quirky, elegantly shot NY detective 1/2 hour Crimedy.
Friday, September 18, 2009 at 12:44PM Here's an interesting video of artist Kseniya Simonova creating sand drawings. A native of the Ukraine, the sand artist won the Ukraine's version of "America's Got Talent." She uses a giant light box, an overhead camera, dramatic music, imagination and her art to interpret the German occupation of Ukraine during WWII. The quality of the video is not so great, but it's fascinating to watch Simonova work.
