Roger and Zapp Band Talk Box

Here's an excerpt from a documentary about Roger Troutman and Zapp.  This specific clip explores the band's pioneering use of the 'talk box' while the film uses interviews with Snoop Dogg, DJ Quik, Zapp and others.  My friend and Columbia J school classmate Frank Williams produced the doc.

Fantastic Mr. Fox: Wes Anderson's Quirky Take on a Roald Dahl Classic

The Fantastic Mr. Fox is Wes Anderson's new animated take on the classic Roald Dahl tale.  Fun to watch for parents and kids.  Using stop animation and delivered in an offbeat, edgy style, this is not your average Disney style animated tale.  Quirky characters and voices bring the kind of take you would expect Wes Anderson to bring to animation.  George Clooney is the voice or Mr. Fox, Meryl Streep is the voice of Mrs. Fox, Jason Schwartzman voices Ash and Bill Murray offers up Badger's lines.

Doc Ellis No Hitter: Some WILD animation

Here's a great story about pitching great Doc Ellis.  It was animated by James Blagden, who complements Ellis's unforgetable with some kooky and amusing animation that helps tell the story in a one of a kind way.
