Power Images: How Images Can Change the World.

Here's a great TED conference talk given by Jonathan Klein from Getty Images who explores how Images have the power to dramatically change our perceptions of the world and affect change.   Klein asks examines the question: Does the photographer take an image or do we have a take on an image made by a photographer?

Breaking Upwards: Growing Apart Together

(This is not a joke).  So there's this NYC couple, and they been dating for four years, but then they decide to break up, part time.  So what happens?  Watch the docudrama coming to theatres near you.  This quirky little film tells the story of real life NY couple, Daryl Wein and Zoe Lister-Jones, who decide to break up - but only for three days each week.  When they're off, their relationship is truly off and they can date others, but when it's on, them old fashioned dating rules apply.  It's a real life adventure that seems sure to have come from a couple living in the Big Apple.  The film, which did well at last years' SXSW festival, hits theatres today (April 2).

First Class Punking: Brought to you by Heineken

Here's a great practical joke done on a GRAND scale which dialed in many hundreds of conspirators, and was carried live on television in Italy.  Heineken took a big risk with this one, but it paid off in spades.  Take a look at the numbers at the end of the video, and you'll see why this multimedia punking event could be considered a huge success.  Is it a harbinger of the future?  Perhaps.  You decide.

The Sand Pit: Real Life or Miniatures

Is it real or is it Memorex?  You tell me.  The Sand Pit is quite an acheivement.  For a full explanation of what you are watching, here's a link with an interview of the film's producer, Sam O'Hare.
