TC Bank: Dream Rangers. Commercials as great film.

Here's a commercial done by Ogilvy Asia for TC Bank called Dream Rangers.  While it has 180 seconds to flesh out a great tale, it's probably enough information to create a 90 minute movie.  This is great film making from the flash backs to the travel scenes, to the tragic opening, it has great story arc and great cinematography.  Good stuff.

Samurai Sword Dance

This is a live performer battling animated characters on the screen behind him.  A remarkable performance of physical brilliance and timing.  It's quite well choreographed and great fun to watch.  It's called 'Sword Dance and Shadowgraph' performed by Taichi Saotome more than ten years ago.  Exciting stuff.

Making a Video about a web site. Amp up the Graphics

Here's a simple little approach used by Radian6, an online experience measurement company.  It tells the story of how a web service can measure online customer experiece.  From a production POV this is a tough story to tell, but Radian6's approach keeps you focused and in the game thanks to some good graphics and lots of movement.

Predicting Our Future. It's not that far away

Here's a look at our future via a film created by Corning called 'A Day Made of Glass'.  There are a lot of highly feasible ideas here showing how Corning might change our lives over the next five or ten years...maybe?  It's clearly resonating because nearly 2 million people have viewed this video as of Feb 22, 2011.   Neat stuff which does indeed seem to be predicting our future.

Amazing One Take Video: OK Go's Rube Goldberg Machine

This video is remarkable and the entire video is all done in one take.  I don't see any areas where the camera and motion pause.  The problem with the video is nobody really cares about the band because they are transfixed by the machine, and what a machine it is!  Zoweeee!
